KLAF 2019: PASAR SENI PROPOSAL

In conjunction with KLAF 2019, this proposal aims to create a statement on the emptiness of surrounding space. Located at Pasar Seni MRT station's vast, empty yet trimmed field, a large sculpture 2 stories tall made of brightly coloured acrylic stands, sandwiched between wireframe boards.

Viewed directly, it presents itself as a large, structure, homogenous and in harmony with itself. When viewed from any other angle, however, it seemingly bursts open into pompous abandon.
