STRANGE FRUITS: KUCHING

A proposal for a pavilion in conjunction with a local arts festival. Strange Fruits seeks to utilize the iconic hardwoods of Sarawak in a new light.

By taking the sectional profiles of such majestic trees and transforming into useful pavilion spaces, users are able to gain a new sense of understanding of the scale and beauty these hardwoods possess.
